Hi, I’m Abira, a California-based artist and art educator with over 18 years of artistic experience and 6+ years of online teaching experience. I began my creative career as an interior designer in India, where my passion for design and artistic styling grew deeply. After moving to the USA, I continued my journey as a professional artist, creating and selling original artworks and fine art prints globally since 2018. Along with painting, I also offer interior art consultation, helping clients choose paintings and artwork styles that best complement their interior spaces and décor. My work mainly focuses on acrylic and oil paintings, and I also accept custom commission orders, including realistic portraits and personalized artwork.
Alongside my professional art practice, I founded a home-based art studio dedicated to helping children and adults grow creatively through structured, skill-focused art education. I offer both in-person and online art classes worldwide, including private and small group sessions for kids ages 5–17 and adults.
My classes are educational, technique-focused, and designed to build strong artistic foundations. I teach essential tips and strategies for improving drawing, sketching, shading, painting, realism, composition, and mixed media skills while encouraging creativity and confidence. Attention to detail and realistic art techniques are an important part of my teaching style.
I also help students prepare professional art portfolios for art school submissions, competitions, and auditions by guiding them through sketching, shading, still life, self-portraits, architectural drawing, figurative work, fantasy art, and 3D concepts.
Beyond teaching, I actively participate in community art events and serve as an art judge in various art competitions. My goal is to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment where every student can develop their artistic voice and progress with confidence.
